TPTN Action News is a news blog created to bring balance to the news in the Fayetteville, N.C. area specifically, and North Carolina in general as a counterpoint to the ultra-liberal local newspaper, the Fayetteville Observer.

TPTN is an acronym for “The Plain Truth Network”.

TPTN, the webmaster, the server administrator nor any TPTN authors are affiliated with any political party, political candidate, political PAC, political convention, or political campaign organization other than the basic affiliations required to be civically responsible registered voters in the state and nation.

TPTN articles are authored under the pseudonym of “Editor” by several different authors who are employed by local and state law enforcement such as the Fayetteville Police Department, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, N.C. State Troopers, retired law enforcement officers, and other emergency services personnel from Fire and EMS as well as their spouses.

The alias “Editor” is utilized to preclude any unfair terminations of the article authors for their use of free speech.

Any emergency personnel, [Law Enforcement: (Municipal Police, Sheriff, State Trooper, DMV, other law enforcement) Fire, Emergency Medical, or their spouses] desiring to have an article posted on TPTN may email their article to tptnnews@gmail.com.
